On March 30, 1858, the patent for a pencil with an attached eraser was issued. Taking your pencil's point of view, what do you think a typical day in your classroom would be like? (Choose one of your classes where you use a pencil).

I would start out on the desk and then be used for any work that was given out in that class.

What is your view of ethical behavior?

I feel that ethical behavior is very important because without correct behavior people can get hurt by the way that you act.

I am a very cool person and I like baseball.

Should our advances in technology be used to abolish the social wrongs in society or used to correct different forms of human life?

I think it should because one of our goals as humans is to live the safest, best life and using technology would help ensure that goal.

What is your view of the idea that today’s art is technology?

I agree that it is art because it takes time to develop and it shows a bigger product and picture to other people.

What is your view of the idea that friendships are a source of energy? Is that always true?

I think that this is true because people have much more energy with their friends and are usually happier.

What is your view on the idea that there is no ‘I’ in ‘team’? Please write about your point of view on this issue.

I feel like it is valid because you cannot be selfish if you are apart of a team.

On this day in 1996, the Hubble Telescope sent back the first images of Pluto's surface. If you have the opportunity, would you like to travel into space or to another planet?

I would take the opportunity to travel to another place or planet

What if the use of robots in school becomes a workable reality?

I think that people will become very lazy and take advantage of the technology.

Write about a day spent in another country. Think about the technology, how do you think it would be different than here in the United States?

A day in a country other than the US would be very different. The US has many advanced technologies that other countries do not have.
