Write about an old piece of technology that you wish was still around or used more frequently. Why do you wish that?
An old piece of technology that I wished was used more frequently are typewriters. I wish that because typewriters are really cool.

Blog: What does the word function mean to you? Please explain.
The word function to me means something that works with something else. It can be numbers, machines, etc. It is pretty much anything that works with anything else.

Think about one form of technology you can’t imagine living without. Is it television? Minecraft? Your smartphone or iPad? Write in your blog explaining why you’re so crazy about this technology, and tell what you would do in its place if it were taken away for a week.
One technology that I rely heavily on is my phone. Without it for a week I would have to communicate to everyone in person which would be a challenge.

Do you think there is more technology used through a cell phone or from a computer daily?
I think that there is more technology used through a cell phone. I think this because it is more accessible than a computer is.

What do you think would happen if a community lost technology for an entire month?
I think that a community would not know what to do. We rely very heavily on technology. They would go into panic.

As technology changes, how do you think the high school experience will transform in the next 10 years? 30 years? 100 years?
I do think it will change. It has already changed a lot with the introduction of computer based classes. As the years get longer I think that it will change more and more.

What do you think would be a good program (app) for Valentine's Day?
What I think would be a good app for Valentine's Day is an app that can make a perfect date. It would ask you a bunch of questions and scan places around you. It would then make a whole date plan for you.

What makes technology addictive?
technology is addictive because of how easy it is to use to get something done or have fun. With other things you have to travel but with technology most of it is always at the touch of your fingertips. It is also very usable for gaming which everyone loves to do because it is very fun.

Blog: Imagine the scenario: an alien species sends a team of spies to Earth to research our species. Being unfamiliar with how things work on our planet, they don't realize that movies are fake. They believe all our movies are real. Under this misguided notion, who do the aliens judge to be the most accomplished human being on the planet (a person who they will then capture and take with them for further study)? Why do you think it would be this person?
They would take Morgan Freeman. I think that they would take him because he looks very accomplished. He is also in many presidency movies which would signify that he is the head of our civilization.

Have you ever thought about creating your own app? What idea do you have that may make a great app?
I have never thought about creating my own app. An idea that I have that would make a great app is something useful to many different people like uber or something.

In today's world most people use technology of some sort, do any of your relatives or friends ask you for help with their technology tools? If so, how do you help them? If not, do they help you with your technology? Please explain.
Yes they do. Mostly my grandparents because they do not really know how to use computers that well. I usually do not help them because my dad is way better at fixing computers than I am. Usually nobody helps me with my computer problems because I can usually figure them out on my own.

Wearable technology, once the stuff of old spy movies, is rapidly moving into the 21st century. Today, consumers can buy wristbands that count steps and track sleep, athletic shoes that monitor fitness, watches that double as phones, and smart glasses that function as a computer or GPS. Imagine that you have invented an exciting new item of wearable technology. In your blog describe this item, explain what it does, and convince readers to buy it. 2. Please open the Vocabulary document, save to your files, define the words, and answer the questions.
I would create a piece of clothing that can track where you are in case of danger and alert the authorities. It would also keep track of your vitals and record the data.

Choose a piece of technology to write about in your journal. U.S. residents have some of the highest levels of stress of any nation in the world. Is this piece of technology increasing the amount of stress in our everyday lives or lessening it? In what ways might this technology affect stress levels?
Television is a very important part of American society. I think that this both adds and relieves stress. People are more involved with stressful things through the news but they can also get lost in TV shows which relieves stress.
